I’ve shot with Terra-Jean on and off since I got serious with portrait photography in 2011.  She’s always a blast to shoot with and when she came to me suggesting a lifestyle shoot in downtown Vancouver I had no choice but to say “hell yes!”

The shots above were done in the Blood Alley area of Vancouver.  It’s an…. “interesting” area.  Historic I’m sure, but if you stray up the wrong set of stairs you’ll fine some…. “interesting” people hanging out or nodding off.  That said, the iron railings had a great look and gives a very “old school Paris” vibe.

Not far away there are alleys with some amazing graffiti and opportunities for some interesting photos.

TJ always has a strong look and I love it when she gives me the “strong and powerful” look, with just that little bit of attitude.  This was a great shoot and a fun way to spend an afternoon of photography in beautiful downtown Vancouver!
