Every year Mission, BC has it’s annual Santa Claus parade. This year was no different. Well, it was slightly different as the temperature was around -7, but that didn’t stop people from coming out. Yes, the crowds were a bit thinner than in previous years, mostly due to the insanely cold weather, but those that showed up were eager and happy. Lots of kids looking to see Santa, and some very creative solutions to keeping warm. Where do you get a portable propane heater anyway?
My friend Chani, who works for the Mission Chamber of Commerce, and who has been my friend since literally kindergarden, asked me to brave the cold and do some photography for the Chamber website… well, how could I say no?
Here are some shots from the night, and look for more at the Chamber of Commerce Facebook page! Maybe you’ll find yourself there….
