It seems that all bloggers (and podcasters) are contractually obligated to write up a retrospective of the previous year on January 1st. While I really enjoyed creating my Photo 365 2012 page, that was really more of something that was being done on the side. So a few highlights from this year:
- Finally moved this site from Drupal (way more than I need) to WordPress (more usable).
- The Evening at Sande’s concept shoot with Athena Leskun.
- Accomplished some fairly decent longer length articles over the year.
- Shot many fun, sexy, messy, gory, and beautiful photoshoots.
- Had a fantastic time doing a wedding re-shoot with the awesome Cher (I wasn’t the original photographer!).
- Almost got smooshed when a tall truck went under a short overpass right next to me.
- Started getting more into event photography.
- The Mill Lake Old Car Show
- Shooting with The United Way
- The Mission Business Excellence Awards, manning the red carpet
- Participated in David duChemin‘s first The Vancouver Gathering workshop to help expand my photography skills
- Finally answered the age old question of What Camera Should I Buy
- Wrote an embarrassingly honest article on How to Take a Correct Self Shot using a mirror in an attempt to educate the masses.
