Took a bit of a break from portraits and people to take a little drive out to Kilby Lake, east of Mission. My wife was out and I was going a bit stir crazy at home, so I packed up a couple of my favourite lenses and took a bit of a drive, and a bit of a walk-about.
I played around a little with intentional camera movement, taking a bit of a queue from friends David duChemin and Cynthia Haynes.
A close second for my favourite shot from the walk. I was walking down the beach and a family was putting their boat in the water. The kids were playing around behind and I love how the background is slightly blurred. The lens was the Pentax SMCP-FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited, settings were 1/500th, f/3.2, ISO 100.
