Well, it’s 7:30am here, no one else is up in the house yet, but since I’ve been sleeping in the spare bedroom of a lady of over 90 for the last few days, I’m accustomed to waking up early (well, for holidays anyway). Since there’s finally wifi connectivity I figured I’d do a bit of posting. Here are a few assorted shots from the last week or so of my trip in the UK.
Lavender fields were ripe for the shooting, especially with my cousin’s new 17mm Tilt/Shift lens.
Broadway Tower, where we had a picnic lunch / birthday party.
Signpost somewhere along the highway between either the Lake District and Scotland or Scotland and the Midlands.
A very un-sympathetic bird at the Captain Cook memorial in Whitby.
More Whitby. I didn’t get a chance to ride the boat though 🙁
England beach.
That’s it for now, probably won’t be able to do much between now and when I get home, but hopefully the few pictures will give a bit of an impression of this side of the world.
Hi Alan, nice photos and good write up. Keep up the good work!
