Sometimes the best parts of the work that I do with the Metro Vancouver Photography Workshops is just hanging out with people.  I’ll be honest, after the 10th or so studio photoshoot, it can get a bit old, especially when you’re there from before the shoot starts, lugging in gear and setting up, shooting and helping the new photographers with lighting and working with the models, and then staying late to tear down all the shooting setups and playing car-Tetris to put it all back again.  So I think of this more as time to hang out with friends and catch up with everyone.
